Elaine appears with Santana and the other Cardinals performing Nutbush City Limits. Afterwards, she shares a mouse-kiss with Santana, giving the impression that they are dating. Later, Brittany reveals that she found out Santana paid Elaine to act as her girlfriend during her return to Lima.
