Gabi is in Violet’s grief group. She was married to a man for 8 1/2 years. She says he was her best friend, but she didn’t know there could be more until she met Ally. She met Ally in Mexico, Gabi was writing for National Geographic and Ally was taking the pictures. They were together for ten years when Ally was left brain dead.
