The girlfriend of Annie Miller. When the two entered a relationship, Jess' religious parents tried to pressure her into breaking up with Annie and denouncing her own sexuality, but Jess refused and left them to be with Annie.
Annie developed an occipital fracture haematoma after crashing on a bike and taken to Holby City Hospital. Due to Jess' age, consultant Max McGerry was keen to inform her parents, but both Annie and Jess were reluctant to. Later, Jess' condition deteriorated, and Max successfully treated the haematoma.
