Prior to being reassigned to busting up illegal absinthe rings and later joining the FBI, Drake was an ATF agent who was part of a task force assembled to help track Hiram Lodge's rum and Jingle Jangle operations.
Since coming to Riverdale, she's been somewhat involved in the weird supernatural stuff, like Cheryl's pyrokinesis, or Betty's ability to see auras.
It's been heavily implied she is sexually attracted to serial killers.
She's also into Betty.
