Born to an underage mother, Karen and her mom had a more sisterly relationship. Sadly her mother was an addict, and Karen had to start making money by stealing and boosting. She meets Simone in juvie and they end up dating. When Karen has no place else to go, she stays with Simone and ends up dying in a house fire.
