Sarah is the town's local doctor who grew up on the island. She came home to care for her aging, ill, mother but doesn't fit in anymore.
She dies, having been shot while setting fire to the church in an effort to burn down the remaining buildings on the island, in order to kill all those infected with the Angel's blood.
