Shelby is dating Micah, one of the men that Kirt is trying to turn into more of a feminist. She and Kirt hit it off and start hooking up behind his back. After Kirt admits that she's fallen in love with Shelby, she admits the truth to Micah. Shelby's response is, "That was kind of a fantasy, no? Did you think that you'd be my girlfriend or something? We're back to reality now; I'm here with my boyfriend." Although not specifically mentioning that she's not into girls, this leaves a bad taste in our mouths.
