Charlie's wife, she has a secret past that her wife (and friends) knew nothing about.
Her whole life she's been an art forger. She'd more or less given it up when she met and fell in love with Charlie. Still, a mysterious woman coerced her into forging yet again, and then blackmailed her. Simone tried to run but was caught and confessed.
She was released after turning on her blackmailer (the same woman who’d ruined Jean’s life), and got back together with Charlie.
