The Doctor is a Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey who travels through time and space in her dimensionally transcendental – “bigger on the inside” – time machine: the TARDIS. Time Lords have done away with such silly notions as gendered society so being male or female makes no difference to her. She would like to be a ginger, though.
