Overview

A British television series, set in the fictional Sussex coastal town of Tilling-on-Sea and based on three 1930s novels by E. F. Benson. Emmeline ‘Lucia’ Lucas and Elizabeth Mapp contest for the social leadership of their town. Meanwhile, Quaint Irene quietly carries a torch for Lucia.
