Overview
The basic concept of the show is James Bell, super mega rich white guy in San Francisco who was adopted (and yes, that’s supposed to make you think about Steve Jobs) and has a degenerative disease has created this cool place called “Bunker Hill” where they’re at the forefront of medicine. They also treat the hospital like a startup, where the ‘best idea wins.’
It’s totally a white guy fest.
Bell hires Walter Wallace, a brilliant veteran surgeon with a controversial past, to run a state-of-the-art hospital with an ultramodern approach to medicine. And it’s through Walter that we get our lesbians.
Notable Queer-Centric Episodes
- “Grace” – Dr. Wallace’s daughter brings her ‘friend’ in for an infection. They’re more than just friends.
