Overview

The life of teacher Aline is transformed after the death of her husband Samuel), murdered by the henchmen of Antônio La Selva, the most powerful and feared rural producer in the southern Mato Grosso city of Nova Primavera. Even without having ever planted a grain, Aline does not give up on her late husband’s dream of turning her farm into a profitable business – counting on the help of Samuel’s cousin, Jonatas (who is in love with her) – and in this way enters a war with La Selva, who covets the widow’s lands.
