Fran Gillespie is a writer and actress, known for Saturday Night Live (1975), Kroll Show (2013) and Lane Woods Finds Love (2017).
Born and raised in Chicago, Fran attended NYU where she made 2 friends and received a degree in English and Spanish.
Fran has been performing at The Upright Citizen’s Brigade since 2004 in a variety of improv shows including, The Faculty, Only in LA, The Law Firm, Diamond Lion, Bangs, Tantrum, and Asssscat 3000. She has also written and performed on the sketch teams Stone Cold Fox, Onassis, Gorilla Gorilla, Slow Burn, Sketchcram and The Wicked Wicked Hammerkatz. In addition, Fran has toured around the country as a member of The UCB TourCo. Born and raised in Chicago, Fran graduated from NYU and received a degree in English and Spanish. Fran is scared of ghosts.
