Martha Nowill is an actress and writer, known for Vermelho Russo (2016), Sheep’s Clothing (2013) and Bewitched (2018).
Born in the city of São Paulo, Martha is the daughter of lawyer Maria Hehl Simões Vicente de Azevedo and renowned doctor Alexandre Nowill. She started acting at the age of 18, and acts in theater, television and cinema.
In 2016, Martha produced a documentary about her grandmother, the activist Dorina Nowill, who went blind at the age of 17 and became a reference in studies and in the fight for the rights of the Blind. In 1946, Dorina created the Foundation for the Book of the Blind in Brazil, which would later become the Dorina Nowill Foundation.
