Matt first discovered his passion for the performing arts in New York, where he studied acting and the Meisner Technique at the Neighborhood Playhouse, Stetson Studio, and the William Esper Studio.
While in New York, he began performing in staged readings, original new works off-off-Broadway, other independent theater, and later on in regional productions.
Simultaneously, he found work in viral videos, primarily with CollegeHumor. His involvement in the comedy website’s original video sketches ultimately opened the door to commercial, print, and voiceover opportunities, including spots for MTV, VH1, McDonald’s, and Nintendo, as well as print campaigns for Puma and the Meth Project.
His growing resume now includes independent film work and primetime credits on ABC, ABC Family, and Disney Channel.
Matt is a proud member of Actors’ Equity and SAG-AFTRA. He is based in Los Angeles.
