Melissa is a Toronto-based writer, producer and content creator. Also a member of ACTRA, she’s worked both behind-the-scenes and in front of camera on both film and television productions. As a freelance writer, she continues to build her creative and editorial portfolio, exploring topics such as grief, mental health and the everyday struggles of the female millennial. Her full-time gig is in production and project management.
Melissa strives to spark honest conversations and evoke empathy through her work. When she’s not on set or hunched over her laptop or hitting deadlines, she enjoys getting lost in new cities, walking/running/dancing (preferably in nature), and eavesdropping in coffee shops, wondering what it’s like to be you.
