Poppy is best known for portraying Kiki in the critically-acclaimed HBOMax series Hacks. Prior to Hacks, Poppy appeared as a series regular on the NBC comedy Sunnyside. Poppy has also made recurring and guest appearances in Better Call Saul, New Amsterdam, and Law & Order: SVU and the Paramount+ reboot of iCarly.
Poppy is committed to creating work with her community and has worked on indie projects such as the short films Names of Women, Safe Among Stars, and Flourish and the viral web series Mercy Mistress. In addition to acting, Poppy is a community-based full spectrum doula and serves as a member of the Board of Directors for SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective.
