Biography

Not afraid of taking risks, Rachel Blanchard has played a wide variety of critically acclaimed roles in both comedy and drama.

She started acting at a very young age and got her first international break as the lead on the hit series Clueless. Blanchard has starred in two films by Atom Egoyan, Adoration and Where The Truth Lies, opposite Colin Firth and Kevin Bacon, both nominated for the Palm D’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, starred in two seasons of the BAFTA winning British comedy series Peep Show, played the recurring role of Sally on HBO’s Emmy Award winning Flight of the Conchords, and recurred as Kitty Nygaard on FX’s Fargo, which won several Emmy and Golden Globe Awards. In 2010 Blanchard took home a Gemini Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in HBO Canada’s Call Me Fitz.  She is currently starring in the series YOU ME HER for the Audience network.

In her spare time, Blanchard loves suiting up and playing hockey.
