Rebekah Wainwright was born in Dublin, Ireland. She is known for her work on The Tudors (2007), Opus K (2011) and How to Be Happy (2013). She graduated from the Gaiety School of Acting and has BA in Acting Studies from Trinity College in Dublin.
Wainwright worked behind the scenes in production before moving to acting herself. She started acting with stage performing before landing a small part on the television show The Roaring Twenties.
