A friend of Zoe Tate's who she met through friend Richard at a poetry reading in Leeds.
In their first meeting, Zoe insulted Jude. They met again at a gay bar and despite her original rudeness, Jude ended up liking Zoe and went to seek her out in Beckindale.
They went out a few times and Jude even met Zoe's father Frank. Although Zoe slept with Jude helping her confirming she really was gay she confessed to Frank that they were only friends and that just because they were both gay it didn't mean they would automatically be a good fit.
