Overview
Bad Sisters (originally titled Emerald) is an Irish dark comedy thriller television series developed by Sharon Horgan, Dave Finkel, and Brett Baer. Set in Dublin, it is based on the Flemish series Clan, which was created by Malin-Sarah Gozin. The series was filmed in Ireland.
A delicious blend of both dark comedy and thriller, Bad Sisters follows the lives of the tight-knit Garvey sisters, who are bound together by the premature death of their parents and a promise to always protect one another. When their brother-in-law winds up dead, his life insurers launch an investigation to prove malicious intent—and set their sights on the sisters, all of whom had ample reason to kill him.
