Overview

The story depicts a male child named Nitori Shuichi who wants to be a girl, and Shuichi’s friend Takatsuki Yoshino, a female child who wants to be a boy.

Known as “Wandering Son” in English it is a manga as well as an anime. Quite often the anime doesn’t hold up to the work on paper, but by limiting the story to the later volumes, starting where the main characters enter their first year of junior high school, they manage to handle the depth with surprising delicacy.
