Overview

A professor whose life is turned upside down is passed over for a promotion that goes to a former student with whom he had an affair. Meanwhile, his daughter is trying to find her way in life, and his best friend undergoes a sex change operation.

Although largely praised as a respectful characterization, Erica’s primary storylines consisted of her dates and boyfriends not actually being all that okay with her having once been a man.
