Lys Perez

Biography

Lys Perez was born and raised in Los Angeles. She graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and started the corporate ladder climb. However, the emboldened racism, misogyny, and classism prompted by the last presidential election compelled her to unpack her creativity and be part of the content that is shaping change. After eight years in the corporate finance world, she decided to leave and dedicate herself full time to her passion for acting. She has since starred in numerous independent films and web series. As an artist, her goal is to empower women of color and members of the LGBTQ/Ally community through authentic storytelling.
