Biography

Jamie Renée Smith is a professional Los Angeles-based actress.  You may recognize her from such shows as 9-1-1, Better Things, Weeds and countless others.  Jamie has been working in Hollywood since childhood, starring in major films including blockbuster hit Dante’s Peak and many more!

Jamie began her acting career at the age of six. Her first acting job was  Saved By the Bell: The College Years. From that day on Jamie has consistently been working, appearing in several feature films (including Blockbuster hit Dante’s Peak) and numerous television shows from playing young Fran Drescher on The Nanny to Silas’ college girlfriend on Weeds.

Jaime was one of thirty students to be accepted into the transfer program at UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television in 2009 in which she received her B.A. in Theater/Acting, graduating cum laude. She is also an avid dancer and singer. Having taken years of ballet, pointe, jazz and hip hop. In addition to acting, Jamie is a die-hard fan of E.T.: The Extraterrestrial, any kind of cheese and of course, Bryan Cranston.
