An irreverent origin story that follows a teenage girl who’s navigating the trials and tribulations of high school, all while dealing with the complexities of her family, her budding sexuality, and mysterious superpowers just beginning to awaken deep within her.

While the show was originally picked up (quietly) for a second seasons, it was canceled in August 2020, citing COVID related issues with production.

Queer Plotline Timeline

Through the first season, Sad is very much in love with Dina. While they kiss near the end of the season, and Dina admits she liked the kiss, it’s unknown yet how far that will go.
