Overview

In this continuation of the iconic 80s sitcom about a bright young girl raised by a foster dad, Punky is now a single mother of three trying to get her life back on track when she meets Izzy, a young girl in the foster system who reminds Punky a lot of her younger self.

The series lasted one season, culminating when Punky finally met up with her biological mother again.

Season 1, Episode 3 “Two First Dates” — When talking to Punky about first kisses, Cherie says “The kiss that changed my life? Rebecca Hillbert.”
Season 1, Episode 4 “Under the Influence” – Cherie’s girlfriend (a lawyer) is also a hippie with a shaman. While Cherie isn’t super into smudging sage, she loves her girlfriend.
Season 1, Episode 5 “Looking for Love and a Hat” – Cherie’s girlfriend, Lauren, comes to a concert with her and Punky.
Season 1, Episode 8 “Put a Ring on It” – Cherie and Lauren get engaged.
