Overview

The series follows the lives and daily trials of the employees at a department store, Brinkerhoff and Coemans. Retail Rejects begins with the introduction of a new employee, Ella Blake whose optimism and excitement is soon shattered by the realities of working at B&C. Trained by the jaded but creative top sales girl, Charlie Wong, Ella faces demanding customers and an over-eager, invasive manager Damien. There are also three co-workers named Britney to distinguish, a fiendish Head Office consultant Linda, corporate espionage from rival store Eternally 22, and Ella’s burgeoning crush on Charlie to deal with. As the season unfolds secrets about the store and between the employees are unravelled, culminating in the ultimate test for the B&C team; surviving the White Thursday sales.
