Overview

When a massive vein of coltan — an incredibly valuable mineral — is discovered under the town Greylock, New Hampshire, a mining company prepares to extract the mineral which would effectively remove the town from existence. Sarah Cooper, “a rebellious high school teacher” in Greylock, organizes and leads opposition. However, an unexpected result occurs when the town becomes its own nation, separate from the US. Thus Sarah and the rest of the town must grapple with developing their own country.

Due to low ratings, the show was canceled the week before the season finale aired.

Queer Plotline Timeline

AJ is a regular on the show, and while her friends know she’s a lesbian, they’re a little surprised that she’s having an affair with the mayor’s wife. This unravels and torpedoes a number of relationships, resulting in Alexis leaving town.
