Overview
Esther leaves her new husband behind in Brooklyn when she determines that she doesn’t want to be involved in an ultra-traditional marriage. Esther travels to Berlin, Germany, to start a new life. Along the way, she gets exposed to a new way of living. Her husband, Yakov, chases after her.
