Overview

A German-American television series about Martin Rauch, an East German, sent to West Germany as an undercover spy for the HVA, the foreign intelligence agency of the Stasi. As a rookie spy, his decisions constantly put his cover at risk and force his agency to take extreme measures.

It’s safe to call this a sleeper hit. Only 8 episodes, it has a sequel (Deutschland 86) that takes place in 1986.
