A novel retelling of Sherlock Holmes, with a Joan Watson. But she’s not the big deal here. As all Baker Street fans know, Mrs. Hudson the housekeeper is the best background character ever. And on Elementary, Ms. Hudson is MTF.

Who knew the trick to removing sexual tension between Watson and Holmes was to make one a woman?
