Overview

A Jada Pinkett Smith medical drama, it was about Nurse Christina Hawthorne, the chief nursing officer at Richmond Trinity Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. She eventually becomes COO of the hospital, but is super passionate, advocates for patients and staff, even at the risk of her job. You know, stereotypical hero nurse.

She also has a thing with the chief of surgery, who wants commitment, and she’s unsure. They do get married, but the show ends on a cliffhanger in season three, after some infidelity, so … maybe Christina should have stayed single after all.
