Overview

Scrubs focuses on the unique point of view of its main character and narrator, Dr. John Michael “J.D.” Dorian for the first eight seasons, with season nine being narrated by the new main character Lucy Bennett. Most episodes feature multiple story lines thematically linked by voice-overs as well as the comical daydreams of J.D.

Notable Queer-Centric Episodes

Webisode 5 “The Late Night with Jimmy Show” – Recurring character Katie Collins said she was an LUG (lesbian until graduation), however it’s unclear as to if she was joking.
Season 6, Episode 10 “My Cold Shower” – Melody tells J.D. & Turk that she had a threesome with two other girls when she was in College.
Season 9, Episode 10 “Our True Lies” – Nicole is brought in by her girlfriend for stomach pains.
