On this chapter of The Queerest Things I Watched Last Week, I check in on how things are going for Gloria and Caroline in season two of Girls5eva.

This season, Gloria has been trying to rekindle her relationship her ex wife Caroline, but also got a woman’s phone number when Summer challenged her to while shooting a music video. At this point things are going well with Caroline (played by Janine Brito, Paula Pell’s real life wife), however her current apartment is not the ideal romantic setting, so the two of them decide to get an apartment together!
They use Kev as their realtor because he’s just starting out and Summer wants him our of her basement. While showing them an apartment he finds a suspicious phone number fall out of Gloria’s bag.
Kev can spot a wandering thought when he sees one.
It seems Gloria still has nagging doubt of her lack of dating experience.
The Megan Rapinoe line made me laugh.
The lease is signed and Gloria and Caroline are officially co-habituating again! She tells Kev this proves she is committed to the relationship with zero doubts.
Looks like the doubt is still there and Kevin can see it.
There is an obvious understanding that Gloria thinks Kevin is a closeted gay guy, although this has never been said out loud. I love how this is taken further with Kevin knowing now to squash down unwanted feelings, but now it’s aimed at Gloria.
With one episode left in season two, we’ll see how it pans out!
