Overview
9-1-1 is an American drama series created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear which follows the lives of Los Angeles first responders: cops, paramedics, firefighters and dispatchers.
It explores the high-pressure experiences of police, paramedics and firefighters who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations. They must try to balance saving people with solving problems in their own lives.
Henrietta ‘Hen’ Wilson (played by Aisha Hinds) is a lesbian firefighter with a wife played by Tracie Thoms (aka Joanne from RENT).
In 2023, the show moved from FOX to ABC.
