Biography

Best known for her role as ‘Aster’ on the award-winning LGBTQ series, Anyone But Me (Hulu), Nicole Pacent is a bisexual actor, writer, and host. A long-time activist for the LGBTQ community, Nicole has worked in queer media for more than a decade, acting in several projects for Tello Films, OML, and other queer-oriented production companies, and writing for Curve Magazine and AfterEllen (under its original editorial staff).

For her work on ABM, Nicole was awarded Best Actress in a Web Series in CherryGrrl.com’s Readers’ Choice Awards, and was twice nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category in Indie Intertube Awards, Indie Soap Awards, and American Soap World Awards. Nicole currently co-hosts the weekly podcast Coming Out with Lauren and Nicole, which gives queer people from all walks of life the opportunity to tell their coming out stories in the hope of educating, entertaining, and empowering listeners.

With over hundreds of thousands of downloads and appearances from LGBTQ celebrities like Stephanie Beatriz, Miles McKenna, and Kirsten Vangsness, Coming Out with Lauren and Nicole has become a go-to pocast for the queer community. In 2019, Nicole was hired to co-write the upcoming bilingual LGBTQ series from 163 Films, the company behind the award-winning Brazilian series, Red, which amassed over eight million views from over 145 countries.

A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Nicole has acted opposite Liza Weil, Melissa Ponzio, and Taye Diggs, and has collaborated as an actor on projects with Dead To Me showrunner Liz Feldman, The L Word: Generation Q showrunner Marja Lewis-Ryan, Creed II writer Juel Taylor, and long-time television and film director, Joel Zwick.

In her personal life, Nicole is an avid Harry Potter fan, a halfway decent amateur opera singer, a french toast connoisseur, and a professional helicopter parent to her dog, Dobby, and her cats Eva and Boo.
