Little Fires Everywhere

Little Fires Everywhere

Overview

Little Fires Everywhere is based on the 2017 novel on the same name (written by Celeste Ng). It focuses on two women and their families: Elena Richardson, a white suburban mom trying to juggle her four teenaged children while working as a journalist, and Mia Warren, a single black mom struggling to make ends meet for her daughter, Pearl.

Their lives quickly become intertwined when Elena rents an apartment to Mia and Pearl. Elena quickly becomes suspicious of where Mia came from and what her true intentions are. Mia tries to keep her head above water while struggling to keep her past a secret and make amends for her decisions.

The show begins with the Richardson’s house on fire and Elena struggles to figure out who may be the arsonist.
