Queerest Things - Lucy and Kate

On this chapter of The Queerest Things I Watched Last Week, the happy Shondaland queers are at Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital and Lucy & Kate take their relationship to the next level on NCIS: Hawai’i.

Warning: This post contains spoilers!
NCIS: Hawaiʻi – Season 2 Episode 5 “Sudden Death” [Live]

Lucy and Kate, the surprise primary couple in a police procedural on CBS of all places, hit a relationship milestone last week when Lucy lost her apartment and Kate invited her to move in.

Of course Lucy only has 1 bag of stuff.

It didn’t happen that easily. They both didn’t want to pressure the other so Lucy and Kate didn’t use their words and explicitly ask about moving in. When it was addressed, Kate came at it from a responsible financial angle and Lucy wanted it to be more romantic.

It’s all good, and in the end, we’ll get the cute domestic #Kacy we deserve.

Grey’s Anatomy – Season 19 Episode 3 “Let’s Talk About Sex” [Live]

I don’t want to talk about what’s going on at Station 19, so let’s focus on Grey’s where all the happy queers seem to be right now.

Kai and Amelia are doing the long-distance thing and trying to figure out travel logistics for when they can see each other again. While doing this, Kai has a surprise.

Can Kai be more smooth and can Amelia be more happy to see them?

Meanwhile, remember how I placed my bet on Dr. Yasuda being queer last week? I was right. Bailey and Addison force the interns to record a sex education video for teenagers and Yasuda says she’s not the best person to do a condom demonstration.

Yay! Character number 35 added to our Grey’s database.

At the end of the episode, we had a classic Grey’s sex montage which included Kamelia, but also Owen. Yuck. I had to sit through Owen practicing “what he learned” from the sex education class to edit this video together. Gross and you’re welcome!

Sigh. I love them.

This week: I’m going to see Tegan & Sara kick their tour off in Philly on Wednesday! That will be the queerest thing I see this week.
