Biography
A graduate of the University of Florida, Jes Macallan’s interest in the arts began early. A classically trained dancer, she studied from the age of three for 18 years and still practices today. She later modeled in Miami, New York and Milan while earning a bachelors degree in International Marketing from the University of Florida with a study abroad term at the prestigious Bocconi University in Milan. After graduation she lived in Los Angeles for a few years gaining traction booking commercials and learning the “business of the business” working for casting directors and interning for executives. She then relocated to New York City for an intensive Meisner based study program at the Maggie Flanigan Studio. With a strong foundation she returned to Los Angeles and began working full time as an actor.
She is best known for her role as Josslyn Carver in ABC drama series Mistresses and Time Agent Ava Sharpe on Legends of Tomorrow.
