CW – Someone’s Gay

A character on The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, or DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will be coming out this season.

“One of the characters on one of the shows is going to be exploring their sexuality and coming out,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said at the Television Critics Association’s press tour on Thursday. “We’re very excited about that.”

The producers declined to reveal the character, which show, and whether they were male or female. “It is a significant character,” EP Greg Berlanti said. “The only reason we wouldn’t [say] is we really want the audience to enjoy the character developments and not necessarily be ahead of the storyline.”

So says EW’s Recap of the TCA press tour from Thursday.

We already know they’re introducing Maggie Sawyer to Supergirl. While a whole lot of people are amped up, hoping for Alex Danvers, I’d bank my TV watchin’ odds on them using Mags as our coming out.

About Mika A. Epstein

Mika has been deep in fandom since she could say 'Trekkie.' With decades experience in running fansites, developing software, and organizing communities, she's taken on the challenge of delving into the recesses of television for queers long forgotten. Making this site with Tracy is nothing short of serendipity. Mika lives with her wife in Southern California. Of course she has a hybrid, but she'd rather ride her bicycle.
