It’s the Queerest Things I Watched Last Week ClexaCon week edition! It’s was an amazing and super queer week, but I didn’t watch a lot of TV, so I’m going to be brief.
- Legends of Tomorrow – Season 3 Episode 17 “Guest Starring John Noble” [Live]
In this episode the Legends + Ava need to save young Barrack Obama from getting killed by Grog.
Later Ava confronts Rip about why he kept her clone-ness a secret from her. He kept saying she was special, and the Time Bureau needed the perfect person like her for the position.
Then she asks him how many Avas have there been before her.
Knowing there were 11 dead Avas before her has left our Ava feeling pretty shitty.
Towards the end of the episode, the Legends come up with a plan to battle Mallus, and Ava is not down with it because it breaks the rules.
Sara runs after her and tries to get Ava to see things her way.
Then she tells her she loves her, but Ava feels like there is no real “her” to love.
Omg, Jes Macallan does such a good job of making Ava look so sad.
Here is the entire scene.

Oh my gosh, do we get the ass-kicking, time fixing girlfriends we’ve always dreamed of? It feels too good to be true, but I really hope it is.

VirginGirl in Love – Season 4 Episode 16 “Chapter Seventy-Nine” [Live]Rafael brings the twins over unexpectedly early to Petra’s after JR has spent the night. It was not the ideal way to meet them, and JR tells Raf she didn’t want to meet them at all because she’s not a kid person.
Raf tells Jane he’s concerned about this, and she suggests the four of them hang out so they can get to know JR. Hang out night comes, and Jane is trying too hard and asking JR a lot of questions. JR says she doesn’t like tests, and she is going to ask the next question.
I love the looks on Jane and Raf’s faces.
Jane can tell JR doesn’t really like her, and later she confronts JR in the elevator and tells JR she cares about her liking her because Jane knows she’s important to Petra.
JR is disturbed by this because she learned she was important to Petra through Jane and not from Petra directly. Petra’s playing it cool again, and JR wants her to be real.
JR says she’s willing to meet the kids if they got serious.
Does this mean JR’s here to stay? I hope we get to keep Rosario Dawson for the next season like we did Jes Macallan.
My plane lands at 7:26, and I hope I can make it home in time for the Legends of Tomorrow season finale!
