It’s been a few episodes of Nico and Karolina not doing anything but having the occasional fight, so the queerest thing happening on Runaways at the moment is a possessed Tina showing Janet how to use a “scary alien weapon.”
I’m still waiting for Nico and Karolina to have a 2 second hug, a handshake or anything besides a few sentences exchanged in annoyance.

On this episode of Good Trouble, we meet Alice’s ex girlfriend, Sumi, and we learn Alice is still hung up on her. Sumi takes advantage of this in many ways. She takes her money and favors, and generally abuses the fact that Alice is still in love with her.
They throw a big party at The Coterie, and all night Alice is watching the door for Sumi so she can give her a birthday cake. When Sumi finally shows up, she’s there with her new girlfriend and, surprise — they just got engaged.
Poor Alice. But how great is it to see one of our favorite actors Briana Venskus playing a queer character?
Later, Alice is in a room with Marianna and Davia drowning her sorrows in the birthday cake she baked for Sumi, when Sumi and her fiancée bust in.
Alice: forever the supportive doormat.
And then this happens.
Before you know it Alice is going to be planning the whole thing and paying for the caterer. I hope our girl eventually gathers enough self-esteem to be honest with Sumi.

At the beginning of this episode, Cheryl and Toni get home from a night of cat burglaring and say the l word to each other!
At school, the quarantine’s been lifted, but Moose and Kevin are still enforcing the “no physical contact” rule against Cheryl and Toni when they’re caught holding hands. They are not compliant.
And then at La Bonne Nuit, we learn Cheryl and Toni have a regular table.
All that and some girlfriend breaking and entering into Hiram Lodge’s house gave us a decent handful of Choni content. I’ll give you that, Riverdale.

Well, Cece the magical, matchmaking lesbian’s arc came to an end this episode.
Thank you, Cece, for hanging around to help everyone with their love lives before dying in the OR.
In the 15 years Grey’s has been on TV, this is the first queer character to die on the show. That says something since the odds of surviving a stay at Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital aren’t very good.

This episode was all about extracting Harry from Tartarus. At the end of the episode, Mel and Jada kiss and someone snaps a picture of it.
Oh, snap! Detective Hamada is on the case! I may have gasped when I saw it was Niko.
Now we know how Niko is going to re-enter the show, and I love it! I see many episodes of fun queer drama ahead.
Tonight — Black Lightning’s back, and I’m hoping Anissa and Grace learn about each other’s powers soon!
