Queer Beats – March 13, 2020

Queer Beats with Nikki Header

Welcome back to Queer Beats, your weekly one-stop shop for queer television news! This week, we are all just trying to get through these crazy times by drowning ourselves in queer TV news.

COVID-19 Cancellations

Okay let’s get this part out of the way before we focus on better news. Because of the worsening virus, many events have been getting cancelled or postponed in an effort to stop the spread. Here’s a quick overview of some of those events:

Okay, now back to our regularly scheduled programming!

Last week’s episode was a rough one for Sophie, but Meagan Tandy made sure to reach out to fans and remind us all that we are never alone.

The Bold Type

These two are in all sorts of drama on the show right now, but at least Aisha is still giving us drama-free behind-the-scenes pics!

Sadly, Impulse was not able to find another home for future seasons.

One Day At A Time

The ODAAT cast recording Flip the Switch videos is my new favorite thing:

Station 19

You know what hasn’t been cancelled? Station 19!

Utopia Falls

Does anyone else love Brooklyn/Sage as much as I do? There’s no word on a season two yet but the official Twitter is thankfully continuing to post behind-the-scenes videos with our faves.

Vagrant Queen

I hope everyone is getting ready for SYFY’s new show, Vagrant Queen, featuring Wynonna Earp‘s own Tim Rozon!

Y: The Last Man

Elliot Fletcher has been added as a series regular on this new FX drama based on a comic book series!

And that’s it for Queer Beats this week! Always thorough, always professional, never random.
