Queer Beats – April 30, 2021

Queer Beats with Nikki Header

Welcome back to Queer Beats, your weekly one-stop shop for queer television news! This week, we were blessed with new trailers from Betty, Legends of Tomorrow, and Master of None.

Betty

Betty is one of the most unique and badass shows that I’ve watched in a while and, thankfully, the second season is about to be released!

Euphoria

Hunter Schafer and Jeremy O. Harris spoke about queer characters on Euphoria and even talked about who is a top or bottom in the Rules relationship…

The L Word: Generation Q

Another week, another cute cast photo:

Legends of Tomorrow

In case you forgot that Legends of Tomorrow will always be…. very Legends of Tomorrow.

Master of None

The trailer is out for the new season of Master of None!

The Wilds

A reminder that Mia Healey and Erana James always understand the assignment.

And that’s it for Queer Beats this week! Always thorough, always professional, never random.

Legends of Tomorrow is the only Arrowverse show I ever got into because it was just fun although had they done another season of chasing demons I would probably stop watching. One thing that did upset me was on The Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover the Legends, other than Sara and Ray, were putting much left off while the CW seem to have every character from the other shows on there. Burt Ward got more time on the crossover than Maise Richardson-Sellers which is completely wrong.

    • Yes, I completely agree!!!! I was definitely disappointed with the last crossover. There was so much potential for all the queer characters to have at least one scene together but they didn’t give us anything!
