Welcome back to Queer Beats, your weekly one-stop shop for queer television news! Before we start, I want to note that it has officially been one year since I started writing Queer Beats. I am so thankful for Team LezWatch for inviting me into the crew and giving me this space to fangirl every week! And a big thank you to everyone who reads along. Now let’s get into it. This week, queer fandom celebrated Spirit Day, Atypical finally released a new trailer, and we got a sneak peek at Kate Kane’s first love interest!
Almost Family
I’m a few weeks late but I finally started watching this new show on FOX and I love it. In case you are wondering why, it’s mainly because of these two faces:

Atypical released a trailer for Season 3 and oh boy, it looks like we are in for a lot of Casey/Izzie angst!

After a few weeks of focus on Sophie, it looks like Kate will be setting her sights on a new woman:
